A quiet family campsite open every August

Open in the sunny month of August. Nestled close to Wareham Forest on a private farm Estate for complete seclusion.

A large field with views to the beautiful Trigon House and farm life surrounding trees including one glamping bell tent for hire. Lots of space around the bell tent for privacy.

Amazing facilities including outside stone sinks from Bali with hot water showers and toilets in novel huts. There are four showers and four toilets for 28 pitches which means you will always be able to get that steamy shower at the end of the day after a day at the beach.
Tranquil countryside, ancient oak trees, and a front-row seat to Dorset’s wildlife – experience the charm of Trigon Farm.
Nestled in a secluded rural field near Wareham, this peaceful campsite offers stunning views of Trigon House and the surrounding farmland. With no busy roads nearby, it’s an ideal spot for families and nature lovers, providing plenty of open space for kids to run free and explore. Keep an eye out for buzzards, sika deer, an array of different birds, while our resident cows graze in the adjoining fields, offering a glimpse into the daily life of a working beef farm.
Beyond the farm, you’ll find plenty to do— Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, Tank Museum, Monkey World is just with in 30 minute drive away, and Dorset’s breathtaking beaches at Studland and Swanage are less than 30 minutes from the site.
Evenings here are best spent gathered around a firepit or barbecue, stargazing in the clear night skies. Essentials can be picked up at the nearby Spar and mini market two miles away, while Wareham’s shops, supermarkets, and Saturday market have all you need for a longer stay.
Facilities include four huts with flushing toilets, four hot showers, a washing-up area, drinking water taps, and waste disposal points. Phone signal and 3G/4G coverage ensure you stay connected, should you need to.
Escape the hustle and bustle, unwind in nature, and enjoy a true countryside retreat at Trigon Farm. It really is a quiet campsite with lots of space.

Liked ; “Great campsite! Probably the best we’ve been to. Some of the things we liked – spacious, flat (ish), very quite location (away from main roads), family friendly (no big adult groups), clean toilets and showers, picturesque, camp fires and wood deliveries, great owners (Rob and Jayne were very helpful and obviously work hard at maintaining the camps standards)”. 10/10 Gareth
“This place is only open for a month a year so I happened across it quite by accident. I’m so glad I did. It’s so far down its own track that you can’t hear any road noise. We thoroughly enjoyed camping on the lawn of a beautiful Arts & Crafts house with lovely trees surrounding it, well-kept facilities & two very hard working & friendly hosts in Rob & Jayne. The Purbecks are even more wonderful just knowing that this place exists” 5 out of 5 Sam. Aug 2025 – Google review
“Liked ; Everything! The Bell Tent had everything you needed for the glamping experience. The site was clean. Jane and Rob were fantastic hosts. The children loved their time here and are already asking about coming back again next year”.
